Zumaia : Michelin's recommendations

A large seaside resort on the Basque coast west of San Sebastián, Zumaia has two popular beaches, one at the foot of cliffs, the other on the edge of town. Other attractions here include the museum dedicated to Ignacio Zulaoga y Abléta. Born in 1870, this well-known society portraitist was a friend of Mallarmé and Degas, and collected works by El Greco, Goya and Zurbarán etc.
