  It is a typical "family run" business, solid furniture, clean and dishes that are uncomplicated, fresh and prepared with skill. The owner, who took the orders, spoke Spanish only, but that did not hinder him to praise the dishes with great verve to his various foreign guests, most of whom did not speak Spanish, and that was fun. I let myself be seduced by him to the local specialty "Putxero amb Pilotes". This was a combination of vegetables that were served around a soup with a cabbage in the center with chopped meat farci. (The on land version of bouillabaisse, so to speak). Since I am a stew lover ,this was a hit for me, especially since it ate away easier than you might think. But there were also lighter dishes such as the tasty cod dish that my wife took. We concluded with a solid piece of home made lemon pie. Add to that a wine list with many local wines to it and you know where to go eat when you are out and about inland of Benidorm

  Service et accueil incomparable. Prévenance du patron et de la "camarera" jamais en défaut. La "cheffa" est créative et offre des côtelettes de cabri grillées à l'ail divines et du gigot de cabri confit au four un vrai régal. Le duero "Valderis" accompagne délicieusement les plats. Et le pousse-café "Rufo" offert par la maison et élaboré pour elle termine en apothéose le festin

  cuisine espagnole "comme à la maison". Il faut manger une fois dans ce restaurant pour découvrir ses tapas et son épaule d'agneau

  Nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis plus de dix ans et nous y retournons souvent. Nous avons toujours été enchantés tant par l'accueil du patron que la qualité des plats, du service et des vins. Nous recommandons les tapas et les grillades succulentes.

  This is a restaurant where Spanish families will go to in the weekend to celebrate a special occasion. Not sofisticated, but very pleasant restaurant over 2 levels.Reception by the owner at the door. Good service, but can get busy and slower when you arrive late. Worthwhile taking time for a full menu.Food was traditional Spanish of excellent quality. Great restaurant to get away from all the tourist restaurants along to sea-side. Is very close to Guadalest.El Castell de Guadalest, known usually as Guadalest, is a small town in Valencia, in a mountainous part of the comarca of Marina Baixa, in the province of Alicante, Spain. Guadalest is approximately 25 kilometres inland from Benidorm along CV-70 road.
