The Río Salazar north of the Monasterio de Leyre has carved out a steep-sided course through the limestone rocks of the Sierra de Navascés. From the lookout point north of Iso there is a splendid view of the end of the canyon. It is possible to walk through the canyon, along a very narrow path. The stream flows through lush vegetation at the base of the cliffs.
