The Nature Park (41 342 ha) is located between 900 and 2 648 m. It is a vast, mountainous area of the Pyrenean foothills formed by the Cadí and Moixero chains and the Massifs of Predaforca, Tosa d'Alp and Puigllançada, with a very typical steep relief. The flanks of the northern slope, forming cliffs sometimes more than 500m high, enclose deep valleys. The landscape is alpine and dense woods alternate with large limestone rocks.
