Prepared by chef Alexandre Schmitt from Alsace, the flavoursome cuisine at this restaurant is very reasonably priced by Basel standards. It is also very good, as the rack of lamb in tarragon jus testifies. The cosy, rustic-style wood panelling creates a warm, friendly atmosphere.
