This remarkable museum, the first part of which is housed in the Palazzo Franzoni, presents the heritage and folklore of the Valle Maggia region through exhibits such as costumes, everyday objects, craftwork and explanations about granite and stone work. The visit continues in Casa Respini-Moretti with a presentation of the Mogheno Roman Necropolis, discovered in 1994. The cellar, "grotto" and theme-based circuit outside (sixty cavities typical of the region) can also be explored.
