Chur : Michelin's recommendations
Coire, set in the Rhine Valley where Latin and Germanic influences meet, has been the Graubünden's historical, administrative and religious capital since the 16C. Its old town is grouped around St Martin's church, at the foot of the cathedral and bishop's palace. There are picturesque alleys lined with fine houses and pretty squares adorned with flower-decked fountains.
