Colombier : Michelin's recommendations
This village near Lake Neufchâtel, renowned for its white wine, is overlooked by its imposing castle rebuilt in the Gothic style in the 15C and extended in the 16C and 17C. It belonged to the counts of Neufchâtel for many years and J.-J. Rousseau stayed there in 1762. Today, the building is a Swiss Army barracks and museum.
