The building mainly dates back to the 15C. Later changes were made in the feudal age (kitchen, guardroom) and the 18C. The treasury of collections in the Salle de Bourgogne is made up of three mourning xxchapes of the order of the Toison d'Or (1476). All over the castle, you will see the crane, an element of the coat of arms of the Counts of Gruyères.
