Consecrated in 1275 and completely restored by Viollet-le-Duc in the late 19C, this building has a simple interior of great unity. Outside, the southern portal is decorated with a fine collection of 13C sculptures; the Montfaucon portal, which was entirely rebuilt in the early 20C, opens onto the centre of the main façade. The cathedral contains the last "watch" in the world.
