Cathedral Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Consecrated in 1275 and completely restored by Viollet-le-Duc in the late 19C, this building has a simple interior of great unity. Outside, the southern portal is decorated with a fine collection of 13C sculptures; the Montfaucon portal, which was entirely rebuilt in the early 20C, opens onto the centre of the main façade. The cathedral contains the last "watch" in the world.

La superbe cathédrale d'une sobriété exemplaire. Tout au contraire du fourre-tout de Genève

Dommage que la deuxième tour ne fut pas achevée.
