Join this partly guided coach tour from Lucerne to Mount Pilatus for a half day winter wonderland on one of Switzerland's most majestic mountains before visiting the Swiss Traffic Museum.
From Kriens, take the panoramic gondola and aerial cable way 7000 feet, (2132 meters) to the top of Mt. Pilitus. Enjoy approximately two and a half hours at your leisure discovering this white winter paradise along the Dragon Path. According to legend, kind dragons once inhibited this mountain! Over lunch, (a choice of two dishes) marvel at the breathtaking alpine views. Afterwards, take the cable car back down the mountain before rejoining your guide for your coach transfer back to Lucerne.
For maintenance reasons, the cable car from Kriens may occasionally be out of order during the winter season.  In such cases, you will travel by cogwheel train to the top of Mt Pilatus, and return back by coach or train.
