Founded in 735, destroyed by fire in 1633, this church was rebuilt in the Renaissance style. It is surrounded by an Italian cloister. A monumental staircase leads to the vast Renaissance interior . The choir, closed off by a wrought iron gate, is decorated with pretty stalls. Gilded retables decorate the ten altars on the bas-côtés. The organ (1650) is one of the best in Switzerland.
