The Verkehrshaus Der Schweiz, created in 1959, is a veritable "city within a city", presenting all manner of floating, flying and wheeled machines! Navigating your way around the different buildings on a scooter (self service) makes for an interactive and enjoyable journey through the history of railways and roads, air travel and shipping. The exhibitions also look at the place of communication in our society. One section is devoted to space travel and offers a virtual space voyage.
