A ten-minute cable car ride up to the Bergstation summit, then a 90-min trek to the lake. The highpoint of the walk is a spectacular suspension footbridge of Himalayan inspiration that sways 70m above the impressive gorge offering a stunning view of the Trift glacier (1 870m). Good walking shoes essential. From the footbridge, you can return and take the cable car down or, if you feel up to it, walk to Guttanen (6hr 30min).
