Situated in a former 18C hospital, this museum covers the origins of Lake Geneva, its flora, fauna (aquariums containing the main species of fish) and bankside vegetation. These themes serve as an introduction to past and present human activity on the lake, especially navigation. The first floor is devoted in part to Lake Geneva painters from Switzerland or abroad.
