Solidly built on a rocky outcrop, this castle was erected from the late 12C and has preserved its defenses despite numerous changes. For nearly two and a half centuries, it was home to the Berne bailiffs. The apartments on the 1st floor reflect the style of life of a bourgeois family. You will find a piano here that allegedly belonged to Chopin.
