With the cable car, tourists can now easily make it to the ridge of the upper mountain ( (alt. 2,973 m) that is one of the most famous glacier routes on the Old Continent. A splendid view can be enjoyed over Piz Palü, Piz Bellavista, Piz Zupas, Crast Agüzza, Piz Bernina, Piz Morteratsch and the Boval refuge.
