With interesting monuments scattered among its streets, the old town is an ideal place for a stroll. Marktgasse, the main road, is lined with fine houses with painted facades and signs. At n° 12, the Fricktaler Museum is devoted to local history. The neighbourin Albrechtsplatz contains a pretty fountain. Situated on Kirchplatz, the church of St Martin, in the Gothic style, has been redecorated in the Baroque style.
