Rougemont : Michelin's recommendations

This charming town with its wooden chalets was the seat of a Cluny priory between the 11C and the Reform. From this past there is still today a picturesque church half-hidden under an overhanging roof. The interior's architecture is typical of primitive Roman constructions in Switzerland.

Accessible by cable car, the upper resort has a restaurant with a roof terrace which gives a fine view of the peaks of Tornette and Diablerets, the lakes of Arnensee and Retaud, the Oldenhorn range and the distant peaks of the Jungfrau mountains.
