Saint-Imier : Michelin's recommendations

This busy clock- and watch-making town, spread out over Mt Soleil's southern slope, has only kept its St Martin's tower from its medieval past, an 11C church demolished in 1828, and its old collegiate church (today Reformed) from the 12C. The narthex inside has very old capitals, a beautiful absidal chapel with oven vaulting, quadripartite vaulting in the chancel and and frescoes.
