This traditional restaurant nestling in the shade of the castle offers one of the most attractive terraces in medieval Sion. Valère is not the name of the chef, as you might expect (he comes from Nancy), but the name of the basilica. A fair distance from the La Cible car park.

      Pros

      Un posto tranquillo ai piedi delle murate di Sion. La cena servita (menu degustazione) di ottima fattura e ben combinata nella presentazione. Le diverse portate ben cucinate e cotte a puntino (sublime il Fois-Gras con i fichi). Il vino (nostra scelta) un Cornalin 2007 buonissimo. Di certo vale una seconda visita.

      Cons

      Una delle ragazze addette al servizio è da istruire e da mandare alla scuola alberghiera per apprendere i rudimenti del servire a tavola.
