Vevey
: Michelin's recommendations
Vevey is in a very beautiful spot facing the Savoy Alps at the edge of Lake Geneva. Capital of the Lavaux wine-producing region, the town became the cradle of the Swiss milk, chocolate and health food products industry in the 19C. It is also here that Charlie Chaplin decided to settle with his family in 1952. His statue stands at the lake's edge to recall the memory of the great artist.
