Mont Pèlerin can be tackled on foot, by car or funicular railway, from the arrival station of which the broad view takes in Lake Leman and the Vaudoise Alps. At the summit, the Plein Ciel tower has a panoramic lift offering a peerless view over the Prealps, Jura and surrounding lakes. Returning by car via Charonne and Chexbres, the lovely road has views of the dents du Midi and the peaks of Savoie’s Haut-Chablais.
