Wil : Michelin's recommendations
Former residence of St Gall's prince-abbots, Wil is built on a rounded hill just before the land hollows out at Toggenbourg. The old town, with its arcaded houses and roofs with their large overhangs, makes a very picturesque setting. From in front of St Nicholas' church there is a beautiful view of the Alpensetin and Churfirsten mountain ranges.
