Oskar Reinhart lived in Winterthur and left his collection of paintings to the town upon his death in 1965. This part of the collection contains work by Swiss, German and Austrian artists from the 18C,19C and 20C. Fine drawings by Wasmann, portraits of children by Anker, studies of animals by Agasse and many paintings by Hodler are of particular interest.
