To reach the rocky summit of the Rothorn, take a funicular that leads first to Sunnega (alt. 2,285 m), alongside a mountain plateau, then Blauhert (2,577 m) from where a cable car leads to the summit. From there, you can enjoy a fine view east over the Ober Rothorn and the Cervin, the Findel glacier to the south, Zermatt to the west and the Nikolaital Valley to the North.
