Zug : Michelin's recommendations
This charming little village lies to the extreme northeast of the lake that bears its name. It stretches out among the lakeside gardens and orchards at the start of the Zugerberg's first wooded foothills. Archaeological digs have found evidence of the presence of Man from the Neolithic period. The town belonged successively to the Lenzburgs, the Kyburgs and the Hapsburgs before joining the Confederation in 1352.
