A walk along the banks of Lake Zug is most enjoyable. From the theatre and the casino, to the south, a path (15min) between the restaurant terraces and public parks leads to Alpenquai (fine views of central Switzerland's mountain peaks with the Bernese Alps in the background) and the cruise boat landing stage. Near the port and beyond lie beaches where you can go swimming.
