Spend an unforgettable day deep in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Journey across three mountain passes, walk over Aare Gorge, and take a stroll through Rhone Glacier, surrounded by its timeless ice.
Immerse yourself in remarkable Swiss scenery while spending a day in the Alps. Begin by crossing Brünig Pass at 1,008 meters (3,307 feet) into the Bernese Oberland for a stop at Aare Gorge. Get an up-close view, using the footbridge to walk over the gorge, before heading out toward Grimsel Pass. The surrounding landscape gives way to a stunning view of Dead Lake at the pass' 2,165-meter (7,103-foot) summit.
The mountainous climb then continues to Rhone Glacier, where you can journey into ice through the 100-meter-long (328-foot-long) blue Ice Tunnel that leads to the rather unique Ice Room. After a short break, ascend even further over the Alps to the 2,431-meter (7,975-foot) Furka Pass, which offers sweeping views of the Gotthard massif and Urseren Valley. Travel via Realp to Andermatt and through the Schöllenen Gorge—set at the foot of the St. Gotthard Pass and featuring the legendary Devil's Bridge—before returning to Zürich.
