Accessible by cable car, the upper resort (alt. 2,869 m) has a splendid panoramic view over the Aletsch and Fiesh glaciers near a waterfall as well as over the high surrounding mountain ranges. You can climb across one of the three cones of rocks near to the station, including Eggishorn, with a cross on top, to get an even better view.
