The cable car journey offers good views of the Saas Grund ski runs. On arrival, visitors will find themselves at the heart of a high mountain landscape, with a superb panorama taking in the Lagginghorn, and the glaciers of the Hohlaub and the Weissmies (4 023m). Head upwards for 15min towards Geissrück to better appreciate the ice pinnacles. There is a lovely view ranging from Mont Rose to Dürrenhorn via the Dom, with 18 summits over 4 000m.
