This home and shop is typical of the Augustan houses from the Roman period. The main rooms are decorated with copies or originals of household objects found during the dig. The section of the floor shows the clever underground heating system (hypocaust). Outside, there is a piece of the famous Gladiators mosaic, an ancient decoration from a town villa.
