What better way to appreciate the genius of Roman architecture than by attending a show during the Bosra Festival, held in its Roman theatre each September. It has amazing acoustics, a three-storey proscenium and 35 rows of seating, from the top of which the view takes in the whole of this monumental structure accommodating 8 000 people. The Islamic period citadel that was built around it in the 13C has assured its survival. An unforgettable experience!
