Time difference
There is a 2-hour time difference between Tanzania and the UK and Ireland in winter and a 3-hour time difference in summer. When it is 12 noon in Dar es-Salaam, it is 10am in London and Dublin in winter and 9am in summer.
Documents
A valid passport and a visa which must be obtained before departure.
Health
Compulsory vaccination: DT Polio.
Recommended vaccinations: yellow fever, meningitis, typhoid, hepatitis A and B.
Anti-malaria medication is recommended.
Travel insurance is advisable (automatically provided by some bank cards).
