Situated at the foot of the Rift Valley escarpment, the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, with its varied landscapes (an alkaline lake, bush, tropical forest etc), is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Keep an eye out for the “climbing” lions which can sometimes be glimpsed resting in the trees.
