The main beaches on the island, Hat Sai Khaeo, Hat Khlong Prao, Hat Khlong Hakok, Hat Kai Bae and Hat Thanam, are strung out along the west coast of Ko Chang as far as the splendid Bang Bao bay at the southern tip of the island. Long stretches of white sand shaded by coconut palms and lapped by turquoise sea are perfect for scuba diving and snorkelling. Some of the beaches are more secluded than others, with no accommodation available.
