This temple is hidden in the depths of the forest. In addition to the fortified town, the World Heritage Site of Kamphaeng Phet also includes a series of forest temples situated 2km to the northwest of the city walls. Arannyik monks, who belonged to a Sri Lankan Buddhist sect, led a truly ascetic life here. With its typical lotus-bud shape, the chedi of Wat Phra Non is similar to those of Sukhotai. As is often the case, the mondop houses a Buddha footprint.
