Wat Kamphang Laeng Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Standing alongside a blue- and gold-roofed temple which emerges behind an oasis of greenery on the corner of the street, Wat Kamphang Laeng, founded in the 12C, marks the southernmost point of the Khmer Empire’s sphere of influence in Thailand. Originally dedicated to Hindu divinities, it went on to become a place of Buddhist worship. Five small stone prang of typical design lining the main avenue still retain traces of their delicate ornamentation.
