Adjacent to the Buddha foundry, the Thai Bird Garden houses several rare species, some of which are the last-remaining specimens in the country. In total, around a hundred birds are kept here, some of which can talk, and some which boast an impressive multicoloured plumage – the most impressive on display are the large birds with a somewhat prehistoric appearance. It’s best not to take your eyes off the birds as the setting is somewhat lacking in charm.
