Begin your day with a visit to Khao Lak National Park. Set the pace for the rest of your day as you sip a coffee at a viewpoint overlooking the ocean. Arrive at Khao Sok with its lush evergreen forests. Here, you'll meet your elephant and personal tour guide for the next two hours. Sit on the back of your pachyderm as he takes you into the rainforest, stopping at panoramic vistas and a majestic waterfall along the way–be sure to bring a swimsuit to enjoy a refreshing dip.
Feast on traditional Thai cuisine in the great outdoors at Khao Sok Rainforest Restaurant. Then explore the depths of local bat caves–complete with slippery looking stalactites, stalagmites, and, of course, bats. Climb onboard a river canoe for a trip down Sok River. Look up to the massive limestone cliffs for a glimpse of the abundant flora and fauna of the area. Top off your tour with a stop at a hilltop pagoda where you'll find sweeping vistas of the surrounding greenery and undulating landscape.
