With its waterfalls and natural pools, the Erawan National Park, located not far from the Burmese border, is a paradise of water. It owes its name to the most famous of its seven waterfalls that seems to adopt the shape of an elephant (erawan). The park’s splendid setting is a haven of luxuriant flora and abundant fauna (gibbons, macaques, birds etc).
