This, the largest national park in the country, is a paradise for lovers of wild nature. Extending across an area of around 3 000km², it offers visitors the chance to explore caves and waterfalls (including the impressive Pala U with its 15 tiers of cascades), ascend the Phanoen Thung peak, enjoy white water excitement on its rivers, excursions by boat on a vast man-made lake dotted with around forty islets, as well as swimming and fishing trips. The national park is also a refuge for leopards, bears, elephants and migratory birds.
