Still untouched by mass tourism, Krabi is an engaging small town where life revolves quietly around the banks of the river, the Chao Fahet dock and the street running parallel to the quayside. With its multitude of shops, a few hotels and a colourful market full of the scents of Asia, Krabi has lots of appeal for visitors. The coast offers a completely different atmosphere, attracting even more tourists to its beaches and its extraordinary landscapes of craggy, limestone rocks.
