Bizerte : Michelin's recommendations

An industrial centre, strategic port and seaside resort all in one, Bizerte has started to embrace tourism while attempting to maintain its authentic feel. For the past few years it has, with good reason, been promoting its old historic quarter, home to the kasbah, maze-like alleyways, tiny houses and the medina with its local artisans, as well as the old port, with its multi-coloured boats and lively cafés. Not forgetting the colonial section of town, the marina and the Boulevard Habib Bougatfa, its seafront promenade.
