Chebika : Michelin's recommendations

Like Midès and Tamerza, Chebika was abandoned following the violent and interminable floods of 1969. Today, the inhabitants of this old Berber village have been rehoused in more modern accommodation nearby, and the river has returned to its original course. Follow the track leading to the opposite bank to enjoy a pleasant view of the village and surrounding area. It is something of a shame that this mountain village attracts so many visitors.
