Ksar Hallouf : Michelin's recommendations

Dominating a small oasis which stretches along a wadi (seasonal river), Ksar Hallouf, with its attractive façades built from rough stone, is one of the most tranquil places to stop off in Tunisia, where the six ghorfa converted into accommodation for visitors ensure a perfect stay. Located around the main square, they are all laid out on two floors and one of them houses a traditional oil press. From the top of the hill overlooking the ksar’s disused small mosque, visitors can enjoy views of the sun setting behind the palm grove and surrounding peaks.
