Le Kef : Michelin's recommendations
Le Kef has remained off the radar of most tourists as a result of its almost nonexistent tourist facilities. As a result, this town of around 50 000 inhabitants has developed without having to worry about sprucing up its appearance, and in so doing has preserved the simple charms of its narrow streets and houses which reveal themselves gradually to the attentive visitor. It is home to several remarkable buildings of historical, architectural and cultural significance, such as the kasbah, Sidi Bou Makhlouf mosque and the Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, respectively. However, Le Kef’s main attraction remains its authentic atmosphere.
