Amasra : Michelin's recommendations

A delightful place for a restful break on the Black Sea, Amasra stands on an isthmus framed by two attractive bays teeming with seagulls, enclosed by a citadel and linked by an old bridge to its neighbouring island. This was the site of the small city of Amasra, whose name derived from Queen Amastris.
