Ince Minare Medrese Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Another medersa that has been converted into a museum, the Ince Minare Medrese now houses the Museum of Wood and Stone Carving. The medersa owes its name (ince means “slender”) to its elegant minaret of blue varnished tiles, which towered above the mosque before being severely truncated by lightning at the beginning of the 20C. The magnificent portal with its rich decoration is typical of Seljuk art of the second half of the 13C. The medersa interior has the same layout as the Karatay Medersa.
