A short loop takes you along ancient taro terraces and aside pretty Limahuli Stream, to a stunning overlook of rugged cliffs and open ocean views. The garden specializes in native Hawaiian culture and plants, encompassing more than 1,000 acres. The public gardens spill over 17 acres; the surrounding 988 acres is a nature preserve.
